Recap: GO SHANGHAI 2024

𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗶 & 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶🌏

The past weeks have been an incredible experience as part of the GO SHANGHAI 2024 program, organized by Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN) . From Taipei to Shanghai, it was all about connecting with inspiring innovators, exploring new opportunities, and taking in the energy of these dynamic markets.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆:

✨ Starting Strong in Taipei: We began with an insightful breakout session led by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Taiwan and Startup Island TAIWAN, giving us a first glimpse into the local innovation landscape. Visiting Taiwan’s Capital opened our eyes to new possibilities and set the tone for what lay ahead.

🌆 Feeling the Vibe of Shanghai: There’s something special about being in Shanghai—its energy is contagious. Getting to know the city’s rhythm and immersing ourselves in its thriving tech ecosystem was not only inspiring but also left us feeling more connected and prepared for future endeavors here.

🤝 Meaningful Connections: We were introduced to some incredible people and visited key hubs like Microsoft, Lenovo, and Baidu. Meeting with TTTech Auto China led to some truly enriching discussions about potential collaborations.

🎤 Pitch Night in Shanghai: The Austrian Startup Pitch Night at the beautiful German Center Shanghai was a memorable evening. Pitching in such an engaging setting and sharing stories over Austrian wine made for the perfect end to a busy day.

This journey wasn’t just about pitching or exploring opportunities—it was about understanding the culture, connecting with people, and being open to new experiences. And in that spirit, we’ve come away feeling more inspired and motivated than ever to keep pushing boundaries.
